Some Days

some days like today

are meant not for

talking or

working or

even loving

they're meant

for doing nothing

and doing it

blissfully

Well then it is one of the days you should pay a visit to the nearest Shopper’s Stop for sure! (They’ve come up with the commercial “Enjoy doing nothing”!) Just kidding. Have fun!

For me, most days are like these ;)

Abhinav - actually you are correct. I had a lot to say, but considering that it was a day to do nothing, hmmm, I'll say it another time:-)

U no hoo - Lucky lucky you!! Days like these are special...

If you actually succeeded in 'not doing anything blissfully'...I could really do with knowing how ?;)
To me it often seems to be the most difficult thing to manage, the universe seems to keep plotting to stop me from doing exactly that ;)

the charm of uselessness is often forgotten as a part of our defensive mechanism perhaps. the over-zealouness on the jingoism of 'araam haraam hai', perhaps. co'mmon we all are hedonists here. every single inch of us! to be useless blissfully is true bliss. what do you think all the holy books promise if you live by its words? heaven! nothing but blissful uselessnes. well, u can have it right here, right now. just believe 'today i am useless, today i am sure'.

Gauri & Pinaki - It is nirvana all over again, is'nt it :-) Yup, we are all closet hedonists, even those of us who fool the world into thinking that we're not...dig deep, really deep and you'll see the first petals of rosy hedonism...

'Happy Doing Nothing' all of you!
